Jennifer was born and raised in a small town on the outskirts of Baltimore, in
Dundalk Maryland. After high school, Jennifer joined the United States Army
Reserves, with her sights set on the G.I. Bill. During her earlier years in
the military, Jennifer served as a legal specialist in the 8830th MP Brigade
out of Fort Meade, Maryland.
In 1999, Jennifer moved to Delaware where she was employed as an orthodontic
assistant. Several years later Jennifer earned a Bachelor’s of Science in
Business Management from Wilmington University, becoming the first in her
family to obtain a college degree. Jennifer used her degree to help dentists
and dental specialists market their practices; however, she always had her
heart set on law.
At the encouragement of her husband and with a deep desire to help people,
Jennifer earned a Juris Doctor from Widener University School of Law
(currently Delaware Law School). While in law school, Jennifer participated in
the Delaware Civil Law clinic, where she represented victims of domestic
violence in her student capacity. Additionally, Jennifer had the privilege of
interning for a summer in The Supreme Court of the State of Delaware for
Justice Jack Jacobs, where she was exposed to a plethora of practice areas,
including corporate, criminal, personal injury, intellectual property, and
family law.
Jennifer went on to serve as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Mark D.
Buckworth in The Family Court of Delaware, where she developed strong
analytical writing skills and gained invaluable experience with domestic
related issues including: child custody, child neglect and abuse, protection
from abuse, divorce, and equitable distribution.
Jennifer is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and is a member of the
American Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, and the Chester
County Bar Association. Having relocated to Chester County, Jennifer proudly
opened Fink Family Law, LLC, where she serves the community with an immense
passion for family law.
Jennifer has volunteered her time delivering inspirational speeches for adult
learners, alternative students, and families in need, including the 2012
commencement speech for the Delaware Technical Community College graduates,
and a 2017 fund raising speech for Children and Families First, an
organization dedicated to youths and families in crisis.
Jennifer is the recipient of several awards, including Main Line Today Top
Lawyers Award(s), Pennsylvania Bar Foundation Pro Bono Award, The Daily Local
Top Lawyers Award(s), and the Chester County Bar Association, Access to
Justice Award.
In her free time, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family, traveling,
cooking, and staying active with her six children.
